Ready for Paint
Two years in the making, Project Camaro is finally off the chassis jig and impressing those who see it. Next comes dyno development of the extreme twin-turbo small-block engine. The goal was to build a Pro Touring car. Instead, we built a time machine.

Project Camaro is based on ’68 Camaro body that has been extensively, but subtly modified to retain a stock experience, yet be a platform for extreme twin-turbocharged performance.

About the Camaro
Some projects take on a life of their own. When Andrew Banks first purchased the ’68 Camaro at age 16, the goal was simply to fix it up for a nice street driver. It would be a perfect first car for a teenager. And maybe, if everything turned out just right, maybe someday it would get a twin-turbo V8.
