is a 2006 GM Duramax LLY V-8 turbodiesel undergoing
testing in one of Banks dynamometer cells.
After horsepower and torque numbers were baselined
and recorded, Banks installed its electronics
and recorded the horsepower and torque gains.

Twin-Turbocharged Duramax Engine Development
Testing of Banks’ twin-turbocharged Duramax
racing engine program is well underway.
Banks has run the test engine in various
states as shown. First, the stock Duramax
engine was run and horsepower and torque
numbers were baselined. Next, the engine
was run controlled by Banks electronics with
exceptional results. After this data was
logged, Banks twin-turbochargers and Big
Hoss intake manifolds were installed and
run. See above.
