I’m really excited to be rolling out our line of BankSpeed™ performance parts for racing. Our 50-year legacy of legendary Banks quality was built on our numerous speed accomplishments on the salt, on water, on road courses and, most recently, on dragstrips across the country. Our diesel-powered S-10 Sidewinder® drag truck runs CleanTune™ seven-second elapsed times with regularity, and we’ll be stuffing a Duramax powerplant along with all of our go-fast parts into a Mike Spitzer-built rail this year with the goal of having the first diesel-powered vehicle in the 6s over a quarter-mile. We don’t set records for the glory; we set them for the purpose of producing the most extreme high-performance parts for our customers’ own race vehicles.

The highly regarded Banks team of engineers designs products that will stand up to the rigors of racing. Our newest addition to the racing arsenal is the BankSpeed Tuner, which essentially puts an end to the black magic of diesel tuning. You don’t need an engineering degree to operate this ultra-compatible unit, which was designed for use at sanctioned racing events only. Heck, you don’t even need a laptop. I have opened the engineering vault here at Banks so that racers can own a piece of the record-setting capability for which the Banks name is known. Give these products a spin. Banks Twin Turbo System

Designed for Small-Block Chevy V-8s

The Banks Twin-Turbo System comes complete with everything necessary for installation, including ductile iron manifolds, dual turbochargers (assembled), dual wastegates, fully-polished plenum and shuttle valve assembly, turbo oiling and oil drainback plumbing, polished stainless-steel turbo heat shields, chrome-plated boost tubes, all required mounting and connection hardware, and complete installation and operating instructions. Turbocharger compressors are polished, as shown here, as an optional service.

Twin-Turbo Complete Engine

Small-Block Chevy 6.0L V-8

The Banks 6.0-liter Complete Twin-Turbo Engine is fully assembled and dyno tested before delivery. It features a Banks/Dart high-nickel iron block with 4.125-inch bores, a 3.425-inch stroke forged steel crankshaft, Banks 4340 H-beam connecting rods, Banks Blower pistons, and exclusive Banks/Dart aluminum cylinder heads. The Twin-Turbo and Accel DFI engine management systems are tuned to the customer’s power and fuel octane requirements. Calibrations for up to 1100 hp are available.

CNC Cylinder Heads

Compatible with most 23° aftermarket pistons, the Banks/Dart aluminum cylinder head has a 227cc intake port volume and a 78cc Banks-designed combustion chamber specifically designed for turbocharging. Any standard stud girdle may be used. Fits standard 3/8” or 7/16” stud mount valve train. 2.200” x 1.310” intake port, stock location; 1.410” x 1.585” exhaust port, stock location and bolt pattern. Intake and exhaust flow graphs available upon request.

Intake Valves

Built for severe duty, Banks’ swirl-polished stainless 2.08” intake valves have chrome stems and hard tips. Valve length: 5.015” (+.100” longer than stock)

Exhaust Valves

Built for severe duty, Banks’ swirl-polished stainless 1.600” exhaust valves have chrome stems and hard tips. Valve length: 5.015” (+.100” longer than stock)

Big Hoss® Intake Manifold for '03-07 5.9L Cummins
