AM General's military Humvee was developed during the Cold War to use General Motor's 150hp and 250-lb-ft of torque 6.2L V-8 diesel. Like the Jeep before it, the Humvee is deployed throughout the world for use in hundreds of different applications-many of which are on the front lines.
