Banks’ exclusive DynaFact electronic gauges offer precision that can’t be matched by mechanical gauges. The pyrometer provides exhaust-gas temperature (EGT) measurements that are accurate within ±15° F at maximum operating temperatures. The pyro's spring-loaded, jeweled movement is resistant to vibration and sports a lit, easy-to-read 0-1500° F face. Banks' 0-50 psi boost gauge monitors power and turbo performance. Includes 2-gauge mounting panel. Top-mount and/or pillar-mount options available.
Developed to maximize turbo-diesel efficiency, Quick-Turbo provides massive instantaneous torque; BigHead Wastegate delivers quick, controlled turbo boost.

My name is Steve and I have a 1997 Ford F350 Crew Cab, 7.3 Liter Turbo Diesel, 4 Wheel Drive, 4.10 gear ratio, for which I purchased a Banks PowerPack, Monster Exhaust, SmartLock Transmission Module, TransCommand Module, and a Banks Exhaust Brake in October 2007.
The entire system was installed in January 2008. I just recently had the opportunity to pull my 36 Foot Coachman Fifth Wheel Trailer any extended distance.
With my truck weighing in at about 7,200 pounds, the trailer net weight of 13, 095 pounds (dry), I was grossing in at about 21,000 pounds. I live in Fairbanks, Alaska and needless to say we have lots of mountains between Fairbanks and Anchorage.
This is only the second long trip (over 800 miles) that I pulled the trailer on. The first was without the Banks Upgrades. That was a nightmare going up hills at 18 mph. The slowest that the heaviest grade pulled my speed down to was 38 mph. Much better than 18mph up Thompson Pass coming out of Valdez before the Banks Install! The Intercooler must have had a profound effect on engine temperatures as the engine temperature never even reached the "O" in normal.
The Banks Upgrades worked perfectly, on the trip down late at night, I never even touched the brakes as the Banks Brake was able to keep the truck and trailer easily under control. The torque and horsepower available from the upgrades was awesome.
P.S. The Banks Installation instructions were awesome. Especially liked the drawings for the cut outs for the intercooler showing the spot welds!

Regarding the PowerPack I installed in my 2001 Ford F250 Power Stroke Diesel. To make it simple - Oh my God!!
I am absolutely thrilled with the increased pulling power. The difference in pulling the Baker grade coming into Las Vegas on the 15 is absolutely awe-inspiring. I tow a 12,000 lb 5th wheel, and I can now pull the grade about 20 miles an hour faster, with less rpm and engine temperature. My fuel efficiency has improved about 14% as well. My wife wants to drive all of the time now because, she says, "I can pass when I want to!!" which she could not do before.
Several of my friends who travel to dog shows with me are very interested in installing Banks Power in their trucks or motorhomes - especially the ones who followed me this weekend.
Thanks again for a great product.

Russ from Oregon tells his story of why he decided to put a Banks Brake, PowerPack with Ram-Air intake, plus a Banks Billet Torque Converter on his 7.3L Power Stroke truck. Was he satisfied? Check out the big grin throughout the video!
Peak numbers tell just part of the story. The Banks PowerPack broadened the total range.”
