Monster® Diesel Duals Exhaust

Very fitting.

This is no cheap, ill-fitting aluminized exhaust. It's a heavy-duty stainless Monster Exhaust system with constant diameter 4" intermediate pipe and two 3½" tailpipes. It fits better than the competition, because Monster Exhaust utilizes the factory hangers and maintains proper clearance to all under-vehicle components. Unlike other split-duals, Monster safely clears the spare tire, shocks and brake lines.

Performance art.

With nearly five decades of engineering airflow improvements, Banks has mastered the art of maximizing flow while minimizing backpressure. The polished straight-through Monster Muffler, mandrel-bent intermediate pipe(s) and tailpipes improve flow up to 150%, virtually eliminate backpressure, lower exhaust gas temps and deliver more power to the ground. And the 6X5” polished-stainless angle-cut rolled-edge tips have real “show” quality--get 'em in high temp black or chrome-over stainless! And to help keep them looking good, there's 1/2" air gaps to keep heat from tarnishing the finish. Adjustable clamps let you position them on the tailpipes just right.

Not just flow-tested. Sound-tested!

Many straight-through mufflers deliver an obnoxious drone that overpowers conversations. Banks Monster Muffler is extensively sound-tested and engineered with a unique expansion chamber and high-temperature packing. Instead of a drone, you’re treated to a rich exhaust note that’s authoritative, yet civil. It sounds as great as it looks!

Note: Dual exhaust not available for dualies.

'06 Dmax Dual exhaust: Only Thing Better Than Having One Beautiful 5" Tip is Having Two

2006-06-28

Chris of Barnhart, Missouri, installed a Monster Diesel Duals exhaust system on an ’06 Silverado with a 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel

After trading in my 2000 F250 (which had the whole PowerPack system and I've already bragged about) my brand new 2006 Silverado seemed sorta unremarkable. The truck has amazing power from the factory (360 hp, 650 lb. ft.) but it needed the Banks touch. Enter the Monster Duals exhaust. First off, if you don't want careful engineering and design—just noise—don't buy this system. The dual 3½-inch tailpipes look like they were born there. Banks apparently took more than a couple of measurements for this system. It doesn't touch the spare or the shocks. And for a muffler that I can stick my forearm through, the Monster is amazingly mellow. Ultimately, Banks is the best. Period. And the only thing better than having that beautiful 5" tip under your truck, is having two of them. BANKS KICKS GAS! And everything else.

'04 Dmax exhaust/tuner: Flat Out F-----g Flys

2005-11-10

Tony of Huntingtown, Maryland, installed a Six-Gun Diesel Tuner, Speed-Loader and Monster exhaust on an ’04 Duramax 6.6L turbo-diesel

I had a Chevy diesel back in 1996 with Banks exhaust and remembered how good it was then, so I bought it again. I installed this exhaust in my garage — no lift, no jack. Off with the old, on with the new in 35 minutes. I build hot rods for a hobby and I have installed everything under the sun in the past 20 years and this was the nicest, cleanest and most precise install I have ever done! So needless to say I had a Six-Gun and Speed-Loader overnited to me the next day. There again, a simple, clean and neat install. I have to laugh every time I drive this beast.

FLAT OUT F-----G FLYS.
