Front Suspension
Like most long-wheelbase dragsters, the Banks Sidewinder Top Dragster has rigid front end. In other words, the length and flexibility of the chassis is used to soak up any race track irregularities. As part of the long-wheelbase philosophy and engineering, the main tube sections have a number of special "slip-fittings" along their length to provide the carefully-controlled flex without loosing any of the chassis' much needed strength and ridgidity.
- Streamlined front A-arms
- Spindles with top-mounted tow hooks
- A slip-joint (grease fitting used to make the chassis “work”)
