Brakes
Lamb Components manufactures very high quality, very competent, drag racing brake systems. Because of its rearward weight bias (nearly 70%+ of this machine's weight rests on its rear tires) the Banks Dragster will have disc brakes on the rear wheels only.
Don't be looking for a brake pedal in this machine, the driver only uses the wheel brakes at speeds well under 100 miles per hour and applies the brakes through the use of a long hand brake lever located inside the cockpit.
Aiding in the "whoaing down" process will be a pair of Impact Racing drag chutes. Each parachute measures 13 feet in diameter; and may be used one at a time or both at once. Chute are very effective in slowing speeding dragsters down from top velocity, an activity that the old-timers call "throwing out the laundry."
- Rear: Lamb four-piston brake calipers
- Dual Impact Racing parachutes
