Huge 2.5 inch stainless mandrel-bent tailpipe with a polished or Black tip. Straight-thru Monster muffler flows up to 140 percent better than stock. Slashes backpressure; throaty sound. Constructed of heavy-gauge stainless steel, Banks Monster features a supersized, 2.5 inch tailpipe with a stainless tailpipe tip polished to a mirror finish. Banks Monster muffler, its straight-through performance muffler, is the industry's least restrictive. In comparison tests, Banks muffler flowed 501.2 cfm at 1 psi - a 140 percent improvement over the stock exhaust's 208.6 cfm, and about 44 percent better than the nearest competitor. Perfect fit almost
"Installed the Monster exhaust on my 05 Jeep LJ. Very straightforward job. Went to put the exhaust tip on, but it contacted my trailer hitch. I tried to trim the exhaust tip, but then I couldn't tighten the clamp securely enough. I bought a turn down exhaust tip from Amazon, and all is good. Sounds great and runs smoother. My old muffler was rusting from the inside out, so this one is a big upgrade."

06 Rubicon Torque Tubes and Monster Exhaust
"Install was a little more difficult than expected. There are a couple of statements in the instructions that should be IN BOLD PRINT, as they are make or break to complete install. Overall, the product is of the quality and performance I expect from Banks. Nice throaty sound on acceleration that fades to the background when cruising."

"I drive a 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ Rubicon. The installation is straight forward until you attempt to position the U shaped pipe over the rear axle. The Rubicon has diagonal axle positioning rods that contact the pipe section and prevent it from lowering into the correct horizontal position. When I go over rough terrain the axle pushes the pipe section into the bottom of the body."
